Smith Talent Group is a talent management company, formerly known as Titan Talent & Entertainment, Inc.

Founded in 2000 by Tim Edwards, who was joined by his partner Laurie Smith in 2001, this firm has established itself as one of the premiere management companies in the New York market. After the departure of Mr. Edwards in 2007, Laurie Smith changed the corporate name and location, but not the spirit and integrity of this organization.

Working to develop, sustain, re-invent and grow acting careers, Smith Talent Group has a base of uniquely gifted clients-actors whose abilities span categories, and whose work appears in every performance medium throughout New York, the U.S., and the world. Smith Talent has discovered young performers, and assisted in “re-branding” and re-introducing more established actors. Smith Talent Group provides a range of services that cover all its clients’ needs. Introductions to agents and the casting community, recommendations and advice regarding acting tools and training, coaching, taping, and film production are among the main services provided to Smith Talent clients.

Laurie Smith has an eclectic background, which makes her uniquely qualified to manage actors’ careers. A former actress as well as casting director, Laurie also worked in jobs as varied as advertising copywriter, teacher, detective (true!) and department store manager (Macys!). This range of experience gives her perspectives and organizational abilities which she brings to her dealings with her clients and the show business communities, both in New York and Los Angeles.
